Customer App

New Features:

  • On Hold Quantity is now visible to customers in the mobile app. 
  • Touchless Delivery: Customer signatures are no longer needed. Drivers will record the location of delivery and a map record will accompany each ticket.

Driver App

New Features:

  • Touchless Delivery: Drivers no longer collect signatures from customers and are only required to acknowledge the delivery event by pressing the “Delivered” button.

Dispatcher App

New Features:

  • Touchless Delivery: The customer signature on tickets has been replaced by a map showing where and when a driver marked his load as “Delivered”.

Support Request: The dispatch app now features the ability to report bugs and request help from the ConcreteDirect development team. When a dispatcher submits a message via the red “?” icon at the bottom of the screen, a service task will be generated and they will be aided by CD developers.

Digital Ticket Hand-off: How to share tickets from the Customer App.

Step 1: From any delivery ticket select the “Share” icon.

Step 2: Select the “Share with QR code” option from the resulting menu.

Step 3: Show the QR code to the person you are handing it off to and allow them to scan it with their unlocked phone’s camera.

Step 4: When they look at the QR code with their phone’s camera, a link will appear at the top of the screen. If they tap the link, their phone’s browser will open up a PDF of all the current tickets on that order.

To view new tickets that were created and loaded after the ticket handoff occurred, just refresh the browser window and the PDF will update.

Customer App

New Mobile Features:

  • Customers can filter on their order and archive screens by who placed the orders. (Android only, iOS coming soon, pictured right)
  • Maps now have full color to more effectively communicate landscape details and traffic conditions.

“Pin drop” shows lat/long values – When selecting a location for an order to be delivered to, lat/long coordinates will be displayed if the pin drop tool is used.

New WebApp Features:

  • Customers should now use “ConcreteDirect.com”
  • Bulk ordering now accommodates multiple mixes and additives – Customers will now be able to draft and request multiple orders with multiple mixes to be submitted all at once from the customer web app. (pictured below)
  • LH brands displayed on login page

Driver App

New Features:

    • “Customer not available” reduced by 1 “button tap” – Drivers can now enter a “No signature” record before entering water records. (pictured right)
  • Drivers now have an hour grace period – When driver’s return to the plant, they have an hour before their delivered tickets are finalized and “locked”.
  • Driver app displaying “Cumulative total / Total ordered” – The driver app and the sharable PDF now display the truck’s cumulative quantity and total quantity ordered.

Improvements:

  • Long tap on map to calculate new route – Drivers can now select any location on the map and route to that location with a “long tap” gesture.

Dispatcher App

New Features:

  • Full color maps – Dispatchers will now be shown greater detail and colors within the map feature.
  • Customer messages sorted by “first come, first served” order – As customer message come in, they will be added to the bottom of the message queue. 
    • Dispatchers can grant or restrict a driver’s access to maps and Push to talk features from account settings.
  • Display of search feature – To improve the discoverability of the order filter it has been permanently displayed.

Version 1.54

Customer App

New Mobile Features:

  • Customers can place complex orders – Mobile app users can now create orders with multiple mixes and specify grout types.
  • Customers can specify “Volume per hour” – Mobile app users can now specify delivery rates in “volume per hour” instead of only spacing between trucks.

New WebApp Features:

Bulk ordering – Customers will now be able to draft multiple orders to be submitted all at once from the customer web app.

Driver App

New Features:

  • Brightness and Volume controls will now be available to drivers who visit the “More” screen or swipe down from the top of any screen. Included are: 
    • Brightness control
    • Automatic brightness setting
    • Night mode (blue light filter)
    • Volume control
    • Clock

Improvements:

  • Increased size of “Confirm” button at point of signature

Dispatcher App

New Features:

  • At-A-Glance Ticket Statuses – Dispatch app users can now tell if a ticket has been cancelled, delivered and signed, delivered and set as “no customer available”, or delivered but unresolved by drivers.

Command to CD Integration

New Features:

  • Batch Weights to include Water/Cement Ratio data.
  • Additional Notes from CD to populate into the field in Command.
  • Quantity per hour rate being sent from Command to CD.
  • Additional water additions appearing on DirectA PDF.
  • Sending CD tablet times stamps to the DirectA PDF.
  • Tickets without projects will still get to driver tablets.

 

Bug fixes:

  • Dispatch App cumulative totals still included cancelled tickets. This has been corrected.
  • Some Driver Apps were presenting “Gallons” instead of “Liters”.
  • Several other minor fixes…

Version 1.52

Customer App

New Features:

  • SSD weights and information from the Command Batch Panel will now be available on each ticket and the shareable PDF. This feature is first available in NER and MAR. Other regions will follow.

  • Notification badge logic has been improved.

 

Driver App

New Features:

Dispatcher App

  • Tablet GPS can now be used to trigger truck statues instead of third party sources like Trimble (within ConcreteDirect Apps only). To utilize CD tablet GPS and CD geofences, a dispatcher must select the “ConcreteDirect signaling and driver input” option in the Drivers administration settings.

Improvements:

  • Improved icons showing “Delivered” vs “Cancelled” tickets in the dispatcher app.

 

Bug fixes:

  • “Pour mode” and “Elements to pour” were occasionally broken on in app orders being sent to command.
  • In the customer app, time zone issues resulted in some orders being removed from queue prematurely. 
  • In the driver app, some tickets were sent to the driver’s tablets with signatures already filled in.
